The Fabric Stasher in Tipton, Iowa is celebrating it’s 10th year in business. The afternoon I visited they were celebrating the grand opening of their newly expanded store.
The Fabric Stasher definitely has a large stash of fabric! They also offer long arm quilting services. Following their remodel, they now have a beautiful new classroom/rental space. This offers customers a space to gather and sew. In the future you might also catch a class there.
Owner, Kerri Smith loves hearing about shop hoppers’ experiences on the shop hop and about the other stores they visit. Kerri suggests that hoppers take the time to look around each store to get an idea of what they offer and what’s unique to each store. Then use their All Iowa Shop Hop Magazine to make notes about each store they visit. That way when they need something or they’re back in town, they’ll better remember what each store specializes in.
Tipton is your typical Iowa small town, with a town square and signs supporting the local high school sports teams. Stop by the Freedom Rock as you’re going through town. If you’re hungry, check out Tipton Family Restaurant, Delicia’s, and if you love fresh baked crescents definitely stop by Tifiny’s Bakery.
