Cristin Lantz is the owner of Redfield Quilt Shop located at 1308 1st St in Redfield, Iowa that opened on November 3rd, 2022.
Cristin and her husband, Dustin, along with their children, Isaac and Lily, have lived in Redfield since 2006 with Redfield being Dustin’s home town.
Cristin has had a successful career as a medical laboratory scientist for more than 20 years, but has always been interested in and skilled at fabric art. She enjoys anything from counted cross stitch to piecing and quilting.
When Cristin and her husband purchased an empty church building in Redfield four years ago, she began to think about making her hobbies into a business. Dustin has spent several months turning the building into a beautiful quilt shop to make Cristin’s dream come true!
Redfield Quilt Shop contains many bolts of beautiful, quality quilting fabric, patterns and notions, in addition to quilting related items such as puzzles, note cards, books, etc.
Cristin has a classroom in the building and plans to start offering classes in 2023. She also wants to encourage others in the area, by offering limited space to display their handmade items for sale by consignment.
